The Meyer’s Merry Christmas

After Church, we came home to make then eat our Christmas Dinner. Sadly, as the glass pan of stuffing was on it’s way to the oven, (that mom had slaved over for a whole morning) it decided that it didn’t want to be eaten. Instead, the sweeper and a hot soapy rag had to take care of it. Then we opened gifts. Since we were in KS this year for Christmas, we did more gifts that we normally do. Then we watched a movie, and went sledding!

Our Christmas recital was on Sunday…we weren't expecting the group that we had, that’s for sure!

After one resident played her own piece, which was…bouncy….and another wanted to sing Silent Night in German, our family sang some Christmas Carols

New baby Goats

I always post photos of the first babies of the season, but after that they all get the same:) These two are surely the most adorable! Two little girls that were born Tuesday. On Wednesday, we brought them into the house…their mom has mastitis which means we have to bottle feed them. This is the first solid colored goats that have ever been born here. I think that they are partly Spanish goats which makes them have different coloring.

I don’t think that we’ll name them, because once they are big enough to eat grain, in with the other goats they’ll go!

D I Y

Do it yourself seems to be the rage, so instead of spending more money on my room, I’ve tried a hand at it.

My most favorite things this fall have been…

069

This is an old frame that I took the back off, and glued the glass to the back. The stickers are from Simply Said. They were some freebees that have been around for a while.

071

074

This is a simple glass vase that I painted the inside of. I just used leftover paint from my room. Instructions are all over Pinterest…just type it in!

I did buy some yellow daisies from Ebay to put in the vase. They havn’t come yet though.

This frame was green, so I re colored it purple.

Birthday Party Bash!

For some friends b-day party, we all went roller skating at Sycamore Springs, an old skating rink that’s been around for a long time. In fact, Grandma and Grandpa Meyer met there!

It just happened to be close to Dad’s birthday too!

I came home from work one day to find Aubrey, Gabe and Cole making some desserts. They made a cinnamon streusel and some fudge brownies. They were yummy!
