Gone to the Zooooooo!

Well, we went! The Omaha zoo which is about 2 hrs. away. It’s a great zoo and we love it!

Mom got on a pretty tiger but realized when the carousel started moving that her tiger didn’t move up and down. she was pretty disappointed;)

This tiger is named Mai, she has three legs. When she was a cub in the wild, she got it caught in some wire and they had to amputate it.

Ciderlicious!

 

Since we don’t have our own orchard anymore, we don’t get to make apple cider every fall. Its sad, because we all love it so much! Our neighbors down the road have a great orchard that did really good this fall so they let us come and pick up the fallen apples for free. They are actually very nice and we didn’t have to do much cutting at all.

Cider is pretty hard to resist! We did 10 gallons of cider in one hour!!!

We’ve been canning a lot of tomatoes recently! this year, we did some whole tomatoes stuffed into jars to be chopped for chili and sauces.

Taylor got his senior pictures taken and Mom and I went along. It was really neat to see a pro in action.
