after the rain

The morning after a rain is always so beautiful!
This is my newest project! I hope it works well! The only problem is that the gutter is right above it, so when it rains the impatien below gets demolishedčśĽ

A friend gave us these beautiful old fashioned irises.
And the last three of our puppies. It's been so much fun raising them, but it's gonna be so sad when they are all gone! I hope we have more next year čśĆ poor dad.

Cutest face ever!

When I was in Chicago at the beginning of May, I drove to meet A. Carolyn, Hope & Caleb. What fun!

The view from the top of the hill. I love Kansas! ❤️

I get to babysit this cutie every once in a while.  This was on the hottest day yet! It got up to 85.

And last but not least, my favorite kind of picture with my favorite little boys in it:)

Cuteness is running rampant around the farm. Look at those pups! They are at the most adorable stage right now! Cole left his shoe with in reach of the puppies one day, and came back to see two pups each with a hold on one end of the shoe, growling and fighting over it. On Sunday, a very nice family came to pick out a puppy. Their twelve year old son needed a playmate. However, by the time they left, they had decided that one wasn't enough. Two it is! Someone is coming on Friday, and some of the neighbors are taking them too. Last time we had pups was in February or March, and I didn't take very many photos of them. This time around, I've made sure to document every bit of their adorable puppy dog tales and adventures...in true Haylie Style. But really, HOW CAN YOU RESIST that ADORABLE face!?!?!?!?
Their poor mother has really gotten the short end of the stick. She's resorted to growling when they bug her. Any mothers out there that ever feel the same way? I'm sure that my mother hasn't.

Cameron & Corinne's Engagement Pictures

two Sundays ago, it was calm, (humid) and a bit cloudy outside, perfect for pictures! So, we hit the pastures for a Meyer style shoot:)

Spring Evenings

Around here, spring evenings call for cookouts, capture the flag, ghost in the graveyard and talks around the fire!
Cole is quite proud of himself for fooling the other team into thinking he was on their side, and walking across the divider line with the white towel flag in hand.

Dad and Gabe left for Haiti on Monday!

I got my senior photos taken by a photographer friend, and I have to admit, being on this side of the camera isn't nearly as fun! I made sure that I caught the apricot trees in bloom, so along with spring blossoms and Grandpa's vintage camera, I have some memorable photos! You'll have to wait to see those.

below: after a stormy afternoon, the clouds broke up and the sun peaked through. What a beautiful view! (excluding the hog house)

Winter Warmth

...and no one is complaining. Seriously? 70 degrees in February? We'll take it!

Some exciting happenings have been Corinne and my trip to the Dominican Republic,  winter(cold) fun, Cameron and Corinne's engagement on Valentine's weekend, Cameron's 21st birthday, & us kids convincing Dad to let us keep yet another big dog.

Myself, Cole, Keelan, Hudson, Aubrey, Abe
Even though Corinne has been a part of our family for a while now, we're so happy to make it official in August!
Our summer just got a whole lot more exciting! With my graduation in June, a reunion before and a vacation after, we will be hopping.
