Butchering 2013

Most every year we butcher 1 to 3 pigs. Here is this years.

The best part is making sausage. Slide the tube stuff,(our friends still use the cleaned-out intestines) onto the grinder(above)

Turn it on…and it comes out in a tube! Then we smoke ours.

We had lots of different seasonings this year so every time they had a new kind, they would sent me to cook up some. then we all have a sample. We had lunch at 1:30 because we weren’t hungry:)
