Accomplished Achievements

Several exciting things were accomplished this last week! I was named as one of the Nemaha County 4-H Ambassadors, Dad finally tore out part of the windbreak, and I finished the last of the kid video series.

Since our farm expanded by one semi length, the lane going behind the shed was too small to turn around in. So, we tore out the south section of the windbreak. The western view is great, and our farm seems brighter, but that could just be our minds. We have a lovely view of  Bern Church, and of course the hog barn.

Now when you drive onto our farm, you can see straight out the back!

Last Friday night was Achievement night for the 4Hers. This is 16 of the 36 members in our club! We have the largest number of members in the county!

Awards were given out, and this year’s Friend of 4-H plaque recipients were a lovely couple from Woodlawn.

2015/2016 Ambassadors! I’m excited to be able to work with this group of kids to try to grow the 4-H community.
